This will be a 5 night 6 day excursion into Colorado’s Sangre de Cristo wilderness. We will meet at a predetermined trailhead near westcliffe Colorado, do a gear check and head into the back country. While there, we will explore several alpine lakes where you’ll have the opportunity to fish some of the most untouched alpine lakes in the country. We will also be in close proximity to several 12,13 and 14,000 foot peaks in the area that can certainly be explored and viewed. You will also have the opportunity to do absolutely nothing at all! This may be the most alluring part of spending time in the back country. What you get when you sign up is full access to our expertise in all things back country related. What to pack, how to pack and everything involved from trailhead and back. We will cover gear, food, boots, clothing, and everything else necessary to enjoy your time spent in the back country. This is also a men only trip. With that being said we will also have the opportunity to tackle what makes us tick as men in a place with as few interruptions as possible. There’s your real value!
